Kay, Bromley. Bromley Kay was created by the Australian author J.M. Walsh (Oliver Keene, Colonel Ormiston, Inspector Quaile, Jack Sanders, Inspector Storm, Timothy Terrel) and appeared in four novels from 1925 to 1930, beginning with The White Mask.

Bromley Kay is an Assistant Commissioner with the Criminal Investigation Bureau in Melbourne. He solves crimes in Australia and England and is assisted by Detective Holland.
