Jurenito, Julio. Julio Jurenito was created by the Russian author Ilya G. Ehrenburg (Jens Boot) and appeared in The Extraordinary Adventures of Julio Jurenito (1922).

In a series of picaresque adventures the cynical Mexican Jurenito (based on Diego Rivera) sets out to destroy European civilization, accompanied by seven disciples. They encounter stereotypical Americans and Europeans, meet Picasso and Chaplin, and see anticipations/predictions of the Holocaust, the Nazi party, the German attack on the U.S.S.R., and the American nuclear attacks on Japan.
