Jordan, Ned. Ned Jordan was created by Fran Striker (Green Hornet, Lone Ranger, Yukon King) and appeared in the radio serial Ned Jordan, Secret Agent (1938-1942).

By day Ned Jordan is a labor and accident detective for the Consolidated American Railroad. That’s only a pose, however, for he is actually an agent of the "Federal Department." In his cover guise he investigates spies, criminals, and other enemies of the government, most of whom use the railroads to travel, communicate with their superiors, and carry out evil deeds. Jordan's office is the "Federal Express," a high-speed, armored train.
