Jarry, Yves. Yves Jarry was created by “Georges Sim,” the pseudonym of the French author Georges Simenon (Jean Dollent, Monsieur Froget, Joseph Leborgne, Jules Maigret, Monsieur Sancette), and appeared in four novels in 1927 and 1928, beginning with Chair de Beauté.
Yves Jarry is a Lupin modeled on Arsène Lupin. Jarry is French and is active around France and Holland. In L’Amant Sans Nom Jarry comes into conflict with Agent 49, a policeman very similar to Jules Maigret.
