Jailbird's Club. The Jailbird’s Club was created by T.A. O'Keefe and appeared in six stories in Flynn’s from 1924 to 1925, beginning with “The Seesaw” (Flynn’s, Dec. 6, 1924).

The premise of the Jailbird’s Club is that all of its members must have done prison time in such a way that it "reflected honor" on him or her–that is, each member must have gone to jail so as to help someone else or for altruism's sake. The Club is made up of a wide range of people, from a Scotland Yard Inspector to a priest. The Club members help other people when they are faced with unjustly doing jail time.
