Jackson, Jim. Jim Jackson was created by the French author Hector Saintillac and appeared in a number of novellas in La Collection d’Aventures in 1916, beginning with “Les exploits du policier Jim Jackson” (La Collection d’Aventures #1, 1916).

Jim Jackson is an American policeman who follows a series of clues into France and stays there after apprehending the man. He appears in stories with titles like “The word that kills” and “The Band of the Red Automobile.”
