Italian Boy. The Italian Boy was created by the Italian author Gastone Simoni (Italian Adventurer, Italian Detective, Pirate Queen (III)), and appeared in L’Ultimo Pirata #1-60 (1930-1931).
The Italian Boy is a youthful Italian who, attracted by the lure of adventure, leaves home to travel around the world on submarines and sailing ships. He travels to places like Tobago, he finds adventure (among other places, on the island of the Family Robinson), he fights evil men (including Germans), and generally has a fine time before finally returning home.
The Italian Boy appears in stories with titles like “The Assault of the Torpedo Boats,” “The Nightmare of the Green Eyes,” and “The Red Silk Mask.”
