Information Kid. The Information Kid was created by Gerald Beaumont and appeared in eight stories in The Red Book Magazine from 1922 to 1925, beginning with “The Empty Stall” (The Red Book Magazine, Oct. 1922).

The Information Kid is a former racetrack wiseguy, crooked and on the make, who reforms for the love of a good woman and begins solving crimes and fighting against the type of men he used to be.
