Hélène (I). Hélène (I) was created by the Hungarian author Melchior Lengyel and appeared in the play Taifun (1909, as a film 1914).
Hélène (I) is a Femme Fatale. Japan has sent a group of officials, including the Yellow Peril Dr. Tokeramo, to Paris to learn all the secrets of Europe and send them back to Japan. But the French coquette Hélène has attached herself to Tokeramo in order to discover why the Japanese are in Paris and has succeeded in getting Tokeramo to fall in love with her and begun betraying some of his secrets. Before he can confess all, however, Hélène’s secret is discovered and Tokeramo strangles her.
