Hazard, Johnny. Johnny Hazard was created by Frank Robbins and appeared in the comic strip “Johnny Hazard” (1944-1977).

Johnny Hazard is an American fighter pilot who escapes from a German P.O.W. camp and begins causing trouble for the Axis, teaming up with the beautiful, hot-headed war photographer Brandy and guerrilla fighters from Italy to China. After the war he has adventures as a flying troubleshooter in South America, Mongolia, and Libya before going to work for the U.S. State Department and fighting the Red Menace around the world.
