Hawkshaw, Jack. Jack Hawkshaw appeared in a number of stories in The Jester and Wonder from 1909 to 1912?

Jack Hawkshaw is an officer with Scotland Yard’s C.I.D. He is relentless and muscular, with red hair and a handsome face. He is supposed to be Scotland Yard’s most famous detective and is usually involved in melodramatic and even Gothic cases. He is later assisted by a schoolboy, Bob Weston.
