Hawks, Bill. Bill Hawks was created by John Pearsol and appeared in a number of stories in The Lone Ranger Magazine in 1937, beginning with “The Kid Goes Through” (The Lone Ranger Magazine, Nov. 1937).

Bill Hawks is the sheriff of the desert town of Perdido, somewhere in the American southwest in the years after the Civil War.
