Hallet, Godfrey. Godfrey Hallett was created by “Scott Graham,” the pseudonym of Ellen Mary Hazelton Black, and appeared in seven stories in Cassell’s Magazine from 1903 to 1905, beginning with “The Momentous Journey” (Cassell’s Magazine, Mar. 1903).

Godfrey Hallett is a would-be clerk in holy orders who with his friend Gilbert Poole is drawn into a series of adventures in England during the Napoleonic War.
