Grigson, Denzil. Denzil Grigson was created by “Adam Broome,” the pseudonym of Godfrey W. James (Inspector Bramley), and appeared in eight novels from 1928 to 1946, beginning with The Porro Palaver.
Denzil Grigson is an Africa Hand. Grigson is a Captain and later Commissioner in a police force in a British West African colony. He is thirty-two, strong, athletic, an excellent shot, and light-hearted, and fights various threats, native and white.
