Grey, Tommy. Tommy Grey was created by the Mexican creator Daniel Lopez (Escarlata) and appeared in the comic strip “Tommy Grey” (Pepín, May 26-July 26, 1938). Tommy Grey, a Texan, goes in search of adventure after the death of his parents. In the American southwest he meets Irma, the masked leader of a gang of masked vigilantes, and he joins them. They fight the Mad Scientist Dr. Hamilton, who “hates humanity because other doctors soured her brain.” After the defeat of Dr. Hamilton Grey’s adventures become more standard.
