Greensleeves. Greensleeves was created by William Murdoch Duncan (Smithy) and appeared in Mystery on the Clyde (1945), Straight Ahead for Danger (1946), and Cult of the Queer People (1949).

Greensleeves is an “international spy and adventurer. Shadow of the night and breath of the day,” who “had done more to defeat the aims of Nazi Germany,” as an "unofficial spy,” than any other man in Europe. Nobody knows that Greensleeves is actually the Englishman Ludovic Leslie. Leslie/Greensleeves has great resolve and ability. He takes no prisoners and has no mercy for German spies in England, especially Z9, the head of the German Secret Service.
