Gaynor, June. June Gaynor was created by “Peter Langley,” the pseudonym of Ronald Fleming (Noel Raymond), and appeared in over 400 stories in Girls’ Crystal from 1937 to 1951.
June Gaynor is a bright young woman who begins as the assistant to and niece of Noel Raymond but in 1938 becomes the lead in her own series of schoolgirl detective, Nancy Drew-esque stories.
