Fury, Nick. Nick Fury was created by Donald Dane (Dreadnought Donovan, Iron Egan) and appeared in a number of stories in Triumph in 1935, beginning with “The Robot Plane” (Triumph, Nov. 16, 1935).

Nick Fury is a Wanted Man. Nick Fury is a former Captain with the R.A.F. He was the brother of X7, of the Secret Service, but X7 was murdered by the assassins of squat Eurasian Karl Zenburg, a master criminal of the East. Fury leaves the R.A.F. and dedicates his life to capturing Zenburg, although thanks to Zenburg’s machinations Fury is wanted by the authorities. All Fury has going for him is an autogiro of his own invention, piloted by the robot Nemo.
