Furber, Art. Art Furber was created by I.K. Friedman (Beggars’ Club) and appeared in three stories in Blue Book in 1919, beginning with “Adventures in Vaudevillainy” (Blue Book, July 1919). Art Furber is a Con Man. Furber is a scoundrel and swindler who profits from thefts committed while working various sideshows and carnivals.
