Führman Chu. Führman Chu was created by the pseudonymical Indonesian author “Cyrus” and appeared in five stories in Liberty in 1935, beginning with “Dr. Führman Chu” (Liberty, Jan. 1935).

Führman Chu is a Yellow Peril modeled on Fu Manchu (I). Dr. Führman Chu is a sinister Chinese crime lord who successfully carries out a number of schemes in Malaysia, China, and Japan. Führman Chu’s plots are often helpful to natives and usually defeat colonial White Perils.
