French Aviator. The French Aviator was created by the French author Louis Gastine and appeared in La Guerre dans l’Espace #1-18 (1912). In the future the French Aviator takes to the skies to defend France against a Yellow Peril invasion. He fights off the plans of the wicked Femme Fatale Helene, Countess De Falso, and wins the love of the noble nurse Ninette. The Aviator appears in stories with titles like “Under the Eye of the ‘Celestial,’” “The Three Rivals,” and “The Barbarians’ Revenge.”
