Foames, Timelock. Timelock Foames was created by Wex Jones and appeared in a number of stories in various Hearst newspapers between 1914 and 1916.

Timelock Foames is Great Detective. He is a Sherlock Holmes parody and is even more scornful to Potson, his Watson, than most Holmes knock-offs are to their Watson analogues.
