Ferry. Ferry was created by the Mexican creator A. Ximenez (Oceyolotl, Dick Troy) and appeared in the comic strip “Ferry y los Corsarios” (Pepín, July 28-Aug. 18, 1938.

“Ferry y los Corsarios” is a copy of “Terry and the Pirates,” and Ferry is overtly modeled on Terry Lee. Three American P.O.W.s escape from a Japanese prisoner of war camp in China, one of them a teenager named Ferry. Ferry and his companions encounter heroic Chinese pirates and fight the evil Japanese Yellow Peril Wu-Li.
