Easy Street Experts. The Easy Street Experts were created by Bertram Atkey (Smiler Bunn, Dragour, Prosper Fair, Hobart Honey, George H. Jay, Mesmer Milann, Winnie O’Wynn) and appeared in five stories in Blue Book Magazine from 1924 to 1926, beginning with “Yes, We Have Some–“ (Blue Book Magazine, Sept. 1924).
The Easy Street Experts are Con Men. A pair of swindlers, they are the Honorable John Brass, a “plump but capable adventurer,” and the “thickset” Colonel Clumber. They are both canny and accomplished at their profession, and are assisted by a Chinese valet.
