Diana. Diana was created by “Jean Marsus,” the pseudonym of the Belgian author Marcelle de Clerck, and appeared in seven short stories and two novels from 1942 to 1944, beginning with “J’ecoute aux portes” (Le Jury Fascicule #33, 1942).

Diana is an agent of l’Agence Gregory, a Belgian private detective agency, although she is usually active in Italy. She is a good agent–sympathetic, intelligent and resourceful. She is helped by Inspectors Lombardi and Johansen, and she eventually marries Johansen.
