De Chavagnac, Comte. Gaspard, the Comte de Chavagnac (1624-1679), was a French adventurer who became famous after his death for his posthumously-published Mémoires de Gaspard. In 1913 he was the hero of the French author Georges Omry’s Aventures et exploits du Comte de Chavagnac #1-5.
The fictional Comte de Chavagnac is a Cape-and-Épée Hero.
