Custer, Anton. Anton Custer was created by the Mexican creator Sealtiel Alatriste and appeared in the comic strips “Detectives y Bandidos” (Chamaco, 1944) and “El Circo Trágico” (Chamaco, 1947).
Anton Custer is a Great Detective modeled on Sherlock Holmes. Assisted by the very Watsonian Sanders, the English Custer travels around the world and defeats the evil schemes of a variety of Femmes Fatale, including the mysterious Fedora and the Romany dancer Eros Volusia.
