Corrigan, Biff. Biff Corrigan was created by “William Morton,” the pseudonym of W.B.M. Ferguson (Lisping Jimmie Blunt, Lightnin’ Calvert, Daniel Cluer), and appeared in Masquerade (1927), Mystery of the Human Bookcase (1931), and The Murderer (1932).
Biff Corrigan is a police inspector in an unidentified big city. He is clever, if not brilliant, and is known for his “air of ferocious amiability.” He prefers his cases to be straightforward and “hates psychologically complex affairs.” He is a cigar-smoker and works under the more brilliant and accomplished Commissioner Cameron.
