Cordry, Jason & Patricia. Jason & Patricia Cordry were created by James O’Hanlon and appeared in five novels from 1937 to 1941, beginning with Murder at Malibu. The Cordrys are a husband-and-wife pair of movie extras turned amateur detectives who operate in Hollywood. They are generally light-hearted, despite some of the murder cases they are involved in, and have a fun, flirtatious relationship.
