Conroy, Thomas. Thomas Conroy was created by Herbert Asbury and appeared in The Devil of Pei-Ling (1927) and Tick of the Clock (1928).

Thomas Conroy is a Inspector for the N.Y.P.D. With the help of his friend, the surgeon Jerry, Conroy solves a variety of strange occult crimes, including one which begins with a woman with stigmata-like wounds and ends with Jerry and Conroy psychically fighting a Chinese demon.
