Conch Island. Conch Island was created by the Chinese author Biheguan Zhuren (Huang Zhisheng) and appeared in Huangjin Shijie (1907).

Conch Island is a remote island near the Antarctic Circle which was settled sometime in the 1550s by Ming loyalists who were shipwrecked while fleeing to Japan. When Conch Island is discovered 260 years later, it is a utopia in the form of a traditional, Chinese civilization.
