Cluer, Daniel. Daniel Cluer was created by W.B.M. Ferguson (Lisping Jimmie Blunt, Lightnin’ Calvert, Biff Corrigan) and appeared in Escape to Eternity (1944) and The Shayne Case (1947).

Daniel Cluer is a Bellem. He is the head of the Manhattan Investigation Bureau, a private detective agency. Cluer is aided by Bodinsky, a rather inept ex-con. Their cases often involve political schemes and machinations at a high level.
