Clews, Arson. Arson Clews was created by Gene Fowler and appeared in a number of stories in various Hearst papers from 1923 to 1925, beginning with “The Sylvan Mystery” (North American, 1923).

Arson Clews is a Great Detective. He is a Sherlock Holmes parody and is Watsoned by Dr. Boobston.
