Chinese Ghosts. The Chinese Ghosts were created by the Chinese creator Wong Toi (Chinese Zombie, Zhong Kui) and appeared in the film Guwu Yuanhun (1939).

The Chinese countryside is plagued by a series of ghosts who haunt the living. One of the ghosts has escaped from Hell, one suffered from injustice in life and has been released from purgatory to gain vengeance, one ghost attempts to rape beautiful women, and one of the ghosts is a suicide. Eventually they are all returned to Hell.
