Cheng-Tu. Cheng-Tu was created by the Spanish creator R. Beyloc and appeared in Cheng-Tu #1-5 (1945).

Cheng-Tu is a Yellow Peril. With buck teeth and big glasses, Cheng-Tu is a summation of years of Fu Manchu (I) lifts. Cheng-Tu wars on the white Western world using atomic torpedoes, torture chambers, and subterranean vehicles. His malign plots are continually foiled by two brave young Spaniards, Navarro and Cristina.

Cheng-Tu appears in stories with titles like “The Amphibian Torpedo,” “The Hanging City,” and “The Madness of Cheng-Tu.”
