Cassidy, Slivers. Slivers Cassidy was created by Frederick J. Jackson (Lloyd Demarest, Nicholas Knox, Man in the Motor Mask, Kristian White) and appeared in nineteen stories and serials in a variety of serials from 1914 through 1936, beginning with “The Departure of Mr. Cassidy” (Adventure, Feb. 1914).

Slivers Cassidy is a cowboy in his mid-thirties who uses the reward money from capturing a gang of bandits to buy the Plus One ranch. But owning a ranch brings its own problems, as Cassidy and his partner Shorthand Conway, the notorious gunman, soon discover.
