Carot. Carot was created by the French author Maurice Landay (Man of a Hundred Masks) and appeared in twenty-five novellas in Le Livre Populaire (Oct 1911-Oct 1913).
Carot is a Cape-and-Épée Hero. Carot is a faithful agent of Napoleon during the French Revolution and works for him, fighting the wicked enemies of France from the shadows. Carot is a particularly lethal swordsman, hence his nickname “coupe-tête” (or “the decapitator”).
