Carlisle, Kenneth. Kenneth Carlisle was created by Carolyn Wells (Bert Bayliss, Alan Ford, Lorimer Lane, Fleming Stone, Pennington Wise) and appeared in Sleeping Dogs (1929), Doorstep Murders (1930), and Skeleton at the Feast (1931).

Kenneth Carlisle is a dark-eyed, lean-faced retired movie star turned private detective. He had tired of the fame and decided to do something more constructive with his life, and since he enjoyed reading true crime stories he decided to become a private detective. He solves crimes through basic deduction and his force of will.
