Captain Fortuna. Captain Fortuna was created by the Italian creator Rino Albertarelli (Kit Carson) and appeared in the comic strip “Capitan Fortuna” (Audace, 1942).

In the 17^th century Captain Fortuna is a brave Italian sailor who commands the ship La Pellegrina. Fortuna wages war on evil English privateers, fighting them across the Caribbean and the Atlantic Ocean. Fortuna is assisted by the elderly first mate Pappafico, by the cabin boy Trinchetto, and by his lover, the beautiful Morena.
