Le Capitaine. Le Capitaine was created by the Canadian author Luan Asllani and appeared in Les Aventures du Capitaine #1-15 (1945-1946).

“Le Capitaine” is Québécois policeman Maxime Grazer. His life is difficult, for he has to deal with John Steavans, the Anglo-Canadian chief of police (who doesn’t like Grazer), as well as a variety of evils and criminals, many of them Femmes Fatale, in Montreal and across Canada.

Le Capitaine appears in stories with titles like “The Captain Versus the Black Hand,” “The Invisible Woman and the Captain,” and “The Woman in the Red Mask and the Captain.”
