Cannon, Bill. Bill Cannon appeared in the German dime novel Bill Cannon, Amerikas Berühmtester Kriminalkommissar #1-22 (1908); the series was reprinted in Denmark and Sweden in 1909 and in Austria in 1910 as Der Kriminalkommissär.

Bill Cannon is a Lupin. He leads a gang and preys on other criminals, such as the Black Hand, the "Murder Sect of Thugs" and a group of crooked pearl thieves.

Cannon appears in stories with titles like “The Black Hand,” “The Theft of the Pearl Necklace,” and “The Jewel Factory.”
