Cameron. Cameron was created by the Chinese author Gu Junzheng (Sean Marlin, Stegil) and appeared in “Zai Beiji Dixia” (Quwei Kexue, 1936).

Cameron is a Mad Scientist. An American anthropologist is exploring the North Pole when he discovers a vast factory underneath the ice. The factory is run by Cameron, an American scientist who is studying magnetism. Cameron has discovered a new kind of iron alloy which has permanent magnetism as well as an enormous iron deposit underneath the North Pole. The iron deposit is responsible for the magnetic North Pole. Cameron intends to replace the iron deposit with his new iron alloy, which would require all magnets to be replaced, thus bringing Cameron huge profits. But when Cameron blows up the iron deposit, the explosion creates a huge chasm into which Cameron falls and dies.
