Byrne, Inspector. Inspector Byrne was created by E. Charles Vivian (Rex Coulson, Gees, Inspector Head, Victor Marshall) and appeared in four novels from 1933 to 1952, beginning with Girl in the Dark.

Inspector Byrne is a What’s All This, Then. Inspector Terence Byrne works for Scotland Yard’s C.I.D. and solves crimes in London and its suburbs. He is the cousin of Inspector Head, and is known as the “Solomon on London and the wickedness thereof.”
