Bromley, Barry. Barry Bromley was created by Nat Gould (Valentine Martyn) and appeared in ten stories which were collected in The Racing Adventures of Barry Bromley (1926). Barry Bromley is a racehorse owner whose main horse, Suspense, is a winner. Naturally, this attracts a number of criminals who attempt to take advantage of Suspense and of Bromley, or to harm them, and Bromley is forced to defend himself and his horse.
