Brighton Boys. The Brighton Boys were created by “Lt. James R. Driscoll,” the pseudonym of Scott Francis Aaron, and appeared in the eleven-volume “Brighton Boys” series, beginning with The Brighton Boys with the Flying Corps (1918) and ending with Brighton Boys in a Submarine Treasure Ship (1920).

Jimmy Hill, Louis Deschamps, Bob Haines, and Archie Fox are all students at the Brighton Academy, and they all hate Germany, and in the eleven novels in the series they fight against the Germans in World War One, in the air, on the ground, and above and below the oceans’ surface.
