Brennan, Red. Red Brennan was created by Steve Fisher (Sheridan Doome, Danny Garrett, Homicide Johnny, Tony Key, Mister Death (II), Mark Turner) and appeared in twenty-four stories in The Feds and Crime Busters from 1936 to 1939, beginning with “Death Maneuvers” (The Feds, Oct. 1936).

Red Brennan is an agent of U.S. Naval Intelligence fighting enemy spies in the United States and in war-torn Shanghai. Brennan’s major opponent is a spy ring of Chinese and Mongolians led by a traitorous American Naval Lieutenant. Brennan is friendly (and possibly more) with Dee, an agent of the British Secret Service.
