Bramley, Inspector. Inspector Bramley was created by “Adam Broome,” the pseudonym of Godfrey W. James (Denzil Grigson), and appeared in The Oxford Murders (1929) and Cambridge Murders (1936).

Chief Inspector Bramley works for Scotland Yard and is drawn into murder cases with academic settings, such as the murder of two African students at Cambridge.
