Brady, Tim. Tim Brady was created by “L. Paul,” the pseudonym of Ludwig Paul Kuhring (Peaceful Barnes), and appeared in eight stories in Sea Stories from 1924 to 1926, beginning with “Tim Brady and the Damned Dots” (Sea Stories, Jul 1924).
Tim Brady is one half of the salvage company of Neil & Brady.
Strength? His friends called him the Human Derrick, though his enemies had other names for Big Tim Brady.
But those same enemies had other, more bitter names for his slim Scotch partner, John Neil. If Tim was the brawn of Neil & Brady, John was the brains. They had been in the salvage business for two years, and when they went after a job they got it.
Neil is smart–but as he says when in trouble, “Have I not Tim Brady to fall back on?”
