Bowie, Alamo. Alamo Bowie was created by Charles M. Martin (Gospel Cummings, Dapper Donnelly, Roaming Reynolds, Rawhide Runyan) and appeared in a number of stories, at least two novels, and two movies from at least 1937 to at least 1947, possibly beginning with Law for Tombstone. Alamo Bowie is a troubleshooter for Wells Fargo, and in that role fights a number of bad men in the Old West. He is old, over forty, and is a tall, grey man on a big red horse.
