Botalón. Botalón appeared in the Spanish dime novel Botalón. El Pirata Fantasma #1-12 (1933?).

Botalón is a pirate who is so crafty and quick-appearing and quick-disappearing that he is known as the “ghost pirate.” He appears in stories with titles like “The Pirate’s Apprentice.”
